HR Advisor – Stoke on Trent

Experienced HR Advisor required to work in a small friendly HR team, in a busy setting. Provide HR support to all Directors, Line Managers and Supervisors.

Job Description:

  • As the HR Advisor they will be providing HR Advise to all Directors, Line Managers and Supervisors.
  • Actively encourage the HR function at all times through effective and professional delivery of operational and project support
  • The HR Advisor will ensure consistent implementation of HR Policies and Procedures
  • Recruitment Process – this can be placing adverts, working with external agencies to conducting Interviews
  • As the HR Advisor they will be dealing with the whole employee lifecycle
  • Overseeing the employee life cycle from on boarding through to leavers
  • Monitor attendance and sickness
  • Keep all employee files and information up to date
  • Manage all disciplinaries and grievances
  • Resolve any employee disputes
  • Monitor performance throughout the business, working closing with managers
  • Support with monthly payroll and benefits

Essential Skills

  • Qualified or working towards CIPD
  • Minimum of three years’ experience of working in an HR Generalist role
  • Experience of working within a multi-site operation
  • Knowledge of HR Management Systems
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • A very approachable and understanding demeanour
  • Can-do attitude
