HGV Class 1 Driver

Premier Drivers – LGV 1 Drivers New Role Monday to Friday days/nights on a general haulage contract. 

We require HGV Class 1 drivers for ongoing work in the Stoke on Trent area.

This is for a new contract for a Monday to Friday day/nights role and there is night work as well. 

You should have knowledge and experience of general haulage work which would be preferred, but not essential as training is given.   

Due to the nature of the contract previous experience of curtainsider work and use of straps to secure your load is essential.    

There will be some handball on this role but not much but this postition suits the hands on driver who likes to get involved and enjoys a customer facing role.

Monday to Friday – days ongoing work and temp to perm roles are on offer to the correct driver.

PAYE rates are from £15.00ph Days and increased rates at weekend the rates included holiday pay. 

Skills

• Applicants must be over 25 years old.
• A maximum of 6 points on your licence for minor offences.
• Minimum of 1 years experience driving a class 1 vehicle would be preferable.
• We cannot accept applicants with DR or IN endorsements on their licence.
