CAD Designer – Stoke on Trent

Salary up to 26k

Experienced CAD Designer required to work in a busy manufacturing environment. Experience of using 2D Autocad and 3D Solidworks and the ability Implement changes in CAD models to aid production.

Main Responsibilities:

• Modify Customer orders using 2D Autocad and 3D Solidworks
• Use Tooling software to Program Punch Machines – Radan, Salvagnini
• Implement changes in CAD models to aid production
• Communicating with external suppliers and customers

• Maintain and promote a safe working environment
• Monitor and maintain high quality standards

Essential Skills and knowledge:

• Trustworthy
• Autocad proficiency
• Solidworks Experience – Further training will be provided
• Good written and verbal communication
• Good planning, able to remain focused and strong organisational skills
• Ability to report back to senior management
• Able to plan and prioritise own workload
• Communicate regularly and effectively with production
• Trumpf or similar Punch machinery programming
• Ability to work under pressure
