HGV Class 1 Driver

Premier Drivers – LGV 1 Drivers Monday to Friday day work

We require HGV Class 1 drivers for ongoing work in the Stoke on Trent area.

These are for general haulage contracts Monday to Friday day work but depending on volumes they may be some later starts required. 

You should have knowledge and experience of curtainside vehicles and also straps to secure your load. 

Due to the nature of the contract there is some handball but not a massive amount on the role.    

Experience is preferred at least one year on your HGV 1 licence, there will an induction before you start your first shift to show you how the company work.

Monday to Friday – days and the odd later start.

Ad-hoc shifts as well on offer if you would just prefer to work a few days during the week.  

Temp to perm roles on offer for the right driver as well is always an option.

PAYE rates are £16.00ph Days £18.00ph Nights

Skills

• Applicants must be over 23 years old.
• A maximum of 6 points on your licence for minor offences.
• Minimum of 1 years experience driving a class 1 vehicle would be preferable.
• We cannot accept applicants with DR or IN endorsements on their licence.
